Ordering & Commercial Terms
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Our typical production MOQ starts at 500 to 1,000 bags depending on customisation and fabric specifications. For regular container programs (FCL), standard 20ft or 40ft container allocations apply.
How quickly will I get a quotation?
Within 24 business hours of receiving your specification. If your requirement needs engineering calculation (such as bulk density or loop sizing), our technical team will contact you with specific questions within that window rather than leaving you waiting.
What information do you need to prepare an accurate quote?
At minimum: bag construction style, internal dimensions, Safe Working Load (SWL), safety factor (5:1 or 6:1), lifting loop type, top style, bottom discharge style, and estimated quantity. Adding cargo material density and destination port ensures prompt final freight calculations.
Can I provide a technical drawing instead?
Yes. Send CAD drawings, specification sheets, or photos and measurements of a bag you currently purchase. Our technical team works directly from all engineering formats.
Do you supply pre-production physical samples?
Yes. We produce physical pre-production sample bags against your agreed technical specification so your team can test fill, lift, and approve before volume extrusion begins.
Product & Technical Capabilities
What is the maximum Safe Working Load you manufacture?
Our certified production range covers 500 kg to 2,000 kg SWL across Baffle, Four Panel, Circular, and U-Panel bag constructions.
Which safety factors do you offer?
We offer 5:1 for single-trip applications and 6:1 for multi-trip or severe-duty applications. Both ratings are physically validated on our in-house test rig.
Can you match an existing specification from another supplier?
Yes. Send a physical sample or specification sheet. We will replicate the construction and advise transparently if any aspect can be improved for safety or freight savings.
Can bags be printed with custom markings?
Yes, up to 4 colours flexographic printing for corporate logos, barcode labels, multi-lingual handling instructions, and regulatory hazardous goods pictograms.
Quality, Testing & Global Export
Do you test every production batch?
Yes. We perform on-site rig load testing, tensile break testing, GSM verification, and accelerated UV weathering testing before goods are packed into export containers.
Can I receive batch test records with my shipment?
Yes. Our Batch QC File accompanies export consignments to support your incoming inspection, insurer compliance, and quality files.
What quality management certifications do you hold?
Coastal FIBC operates certified quality and environmental systems including ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental), ISO 22000 (Food Safety), and COTECNA verification.
Which ports and Incoterms do you ship from?
We regularly ship via Mundra, Kandla, and Nhava Sheva (JNPT) ports in India under FOB, CIF, CFR, and DDP terms to more than 25 countries worldwide.
