Configuration Options

“Sixteen decisions. Most of them belong to your operation, not your bag.”

Once the core construction is selected, an FIBC is configured around how your facility fills it, how equipment lifts it, and how your operators discharge it. Get these right and the packaging integrates seamlessly into your plant line.

01 · Lifting Mechanics

Lifting & Loop Configurations (5 Types)

The loops carry the complete dynamic load. Loop geometry must match your forklift tines, crane spreaders, or port lifting rigs.

Type 01

Cross Corner Loops

Stitched at an angle across corners so they stand permanently open and rigid. Forklift tines enter smoothly without needing a second ground worker to hold loops open. The standard for high-speed single-operator handling.

Type 02

Corner Seam Loops

Sewn directly into vertical corner seams, transferring lifting tension straight down the structural corner ribs. Clean, high-strength geometry suited for spreader bars and overhead hoists.

Type 03

Stevedore Straps

Heavy interconnected sling loops bridging multiple corners. Allows vessel cranes and port stevedores to pick multi-bag clusters simultaneously for rapid vessel cargo hold stowage.

Type 04

Sleeve Lift

Continuous tubular fabric channels running along the top perimeter. Forks slide through the sleeve, spreading lifting stress across wide fabric areas rather than four concentrated point loads.

Type 05

Single Lift Point

All lifting force gathered into a central hooded pick loop. Ideal for tight-head hoists and confined vessels where standard 4-point forklift spreads cannot manoeuvre.

02 · Inflow Control

Top & Filling Options (6 Types)

Configured around your loading hopper, automated dosing head, and plant dust-containment protocols.

Top Style 01

Open Top

Completely unobstructed rim. Fastest mechanical bulk drop, lowest unit cost. Best for aggregates, coarse scrap, and non-dusting commodities.

Top Style 02

Top Skirt (Duffle Top)

Full-width fabric skirt that folds open for high-volume loading, then bundles closed with a perimeter tie cord to seal against weather and contaminants.

Top Style 03

Filling Spout

Cylindrical fabric inlet that clamps hermetically around filling chutes. Eliminates dust clouds, seals powders, and ties off securely with swan-neck cords.

Top Style 04

Conical Top

Tapered pyramidal roof funneling product directly into the spout opening, ensuring full cubic capacity is achieved without material shoulders hanging up.

Top Style 05

Star Closure

Precision pleated spout gathered into a symmetrical star seal, preventing fine material sift without demanding secondary tie hardware.

Top Style 06

Iris Closure

Concentric drawstring closure providing calibrated aperture choking, allowing staged incremental filling and hermetic resealing between QA sample pulls.

03 · Outflow & Ergonomics

Bottom & Discharge Closures (5 Types)

Discharge is where operational friction occurs. Select closures that protect operator safety and eliminate bridging downtime.

Discharge 01

Flat Bottom (Plain)

Completely closed base. Single-use bag cut open over receiving grates. Lowest cost, maximum base tensile strength for non-reusable bulk materials.

Discharge 02

Discharge Spout

Standard bottom discharge tube secured with tie tape and protective pyjama flap. Delivers clean, directed flow into hoppers, mixers, and pneumatic transfer bins.

Discharge 03

Spout with Iris Closure

Allows an operator to choke, throttle, and completely halt discharge flow mid-cycle without tools. Mandatory when metering precise batch weights into reactors.

Discharge 04

Spout with Star Closure

Pleated bottom spout nestled beneath a reinforced petal star cover. Ensures maximum transit puncture protection while offering straightforward pull-string opening.

Discharge 05

Full Open Bottom

Base drops completely open in one motion. Prevents cohesive minerals, clays, and bridging solids from wedging inside narrow discharge spouts.

04 · Finishing & Protection

Fabric Coatings, Liners & Technical Printing

Coated vs Uncoated Fabric

Extruded polyethylene lamination (25–35 GSM) seals fabric pores against moisture and powder sift. Uncoated fabric provides natural breathability for agricultural grains.

Engineered Liners

Form-fit, tabbed, or loosely inserted LDPE, EVOH, and aluminum barrier liners provide oxygen and chemical barriers for sensitive powders and food ingredients.

Up to 4-Colour Printing

Crisp flexographic in-house printing on up to 4 sides. Clear hazardous goods pictograms, multi-language instructions, lot codes, and corporate branding.
