Every Batch is Tested. Not Every Good Day.
Any manufacturer can produce a single golden bag that passes a laboratory test. The question a serious buyer asks is different: will the four-hundredth bag in the container perform the way the qualification sample did?
That question is only answered by testing production batches, in-house, before dispatch. Coastal FIBC operates its own dedicated testing laboratory for exactly that reason.
The Four In-House Testing Capabilities
Calibrated test equipment operated by specialized QA engineers in our Rajkot facility.

Rig Testing — Does the Bag Perform at Its Rating?
A filled bag is secured on our hydraulic top-lift test rig and subjected to cyclic loading followed by ultimate break loading. Rig testing is the only test that evaluates the bag as an integrated structure — fabric, seams, loops, and base behaving together under real dynamic stress.

Strength Testing — Where Does It Fail First?
Calibrated tensile testing of fabric swatches, seam joins, and loop webbing. Bulk bags fail at seams, loop anchors, or fabric walls. Testing all three separately pinpoints the limiting mechanical factor, allowing our engineers to optimize reinforcement before production runs.

GSM Testing — Is the Fabric What the Spec Says?
Grams per square metre verified batch-by-batch using circular specimen cutters and analytical balances. GSM drift is the quietest defect in this industry: lighter fabric looks identical, but yields lower burst resistance. Verifying every batch eliminates thickness compromise.

UV Testing — Will It Survive Outdoor Field Life?
Polypropylene degrades under ultraviolet sunlight. For agricultural and construction bags stored outdoors or shipped through equatorial sea routes, accelerated UV exposure testing measures residual tensile retention to ensure bags will not tear during mid-season lifting.
The Batch File: Evidence Shipped With Your Goods
Test results belong with the goods, not filed in a drawer. Rig, tensile strength, GSM, and UV test data for your specific production batch are compiled and provided with shipments to satisfy your QA inspection criteria, insurance requirements, and internal audit files.
